To begin:

a home made watercolor palette
Here's one palette I carry about. In the 1980's it held a set of Pelikan  pan colors. These got left behind when I fell into oil paint after catching a whiff of turpentine while walking on 46th or 45th street between Fifth and Sixth and was shot back to art school days where the smell of turps was ubiquitous.

Over time I got out of the habit of both sketching from direct observation and using watercolors. Then I found the Urban Sketchers website and was shot back to the love of drawing daily once again.

Mmmmmmm… d r a w i n g.

Here's where I'll share the results.
